Satkar Yog Khalsa Ji,

Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh.

The "comedy of errors" now playing out to a full audience in the Punjab and the entire Sikh World is not at its final chapter by any reckoning. I fear worse is yet to come.

Lets first have a look at some past history. The Khalsa Raaj of  Maharaja Ranjit Singh was such a model Raaj, with full Sikh-Hindu-Muslim friendship and fellowship and peace such as never seen before.  After nearly a thousand years of pain and suffering, the people of Punjab had real Peace and tranquility for the space of about 50 years under the Maharaja Ranjit Singh. But this was not to be – the period of peace and tranquility was not to last. The moment the Maharaja closed his eyes on his deathbed, intrigue and back stabbing took hold until it escalated into full scale and wanton DESTRUCTION of this Khalsa Raaj. The end result was Punjab came under foreign rule for the next 99 years.

Is History being repeated  now ? Looks like that way to me.

The Sri Guru Singh Sabha Movement and the subsequent Akali Morchas and Gurdwara Sudhar Leher cleansed Sikhism of all anti-gurmat materials and presented a pure and strong Sikhism.  The enemies of the Guru Panth were thwarted for a while…..but they soon began their intrigues and guiles to sneak back into Sikhism….the Sants started their Deras, Radhasoamis, Namdharis, Nirankaris,  Nanksaris, Dodras, and a host of such anti gurmat groups began their propagandas in earnest…slowly and surely building their vast empires. Their target was of course the SGPC and the Akali Dal. But this was denied to them by the shrewd voters. They tried again and again to gain access to the SGPC but failed again and again.

Then came the Holocaust of the 1980's and with the extermination of the vast majority of the youth and a sense of apathy in the remaining members of the Khalsa Panth, the anti-gurmat groups with full backing of the Anti-Sikh forces, decided to have a full scale morcha for the Sikh mind and vote. The Sant Samaj Party was officially launched, all the various sants and derawallahs of every hue and colour joined under this banner of the Sant Samaj. A rival Reht Maryada was launched and agents sent out to every village and even the foreign based Sikhs were bombarded by their jathas and raagis etc coming by the hundreds to brainwash the Sikhs. The elections to the SGPC came…and lo and behold, the "millions" shown in the videos attending sant samaj functions did not translate into VOTES and the Sant Samaj candidates lost even their Deposits The ordinary voter had soundly REJECTED the Sant Samaj. The same happened in the Punjab Assembly elections that followed soon after.

The SANT SAMAJ then changed tactics….having been denied entry into the SGPC by the voters, they decided on a frontal assault on the top Religious Institutions of the Guru Khalsa Panth to start the destruction from the very top.   Recent events from the Akal Takhat have proven that this plan seems to have succeeded rather well.   Now the next step is grabbing POLITICAL power in the Punjab to cement their control over the Religious side. That is why now Badal is being targeted ….. the agenda being to bring down his govt and the SANT SAMAJ ( and the holders of its puppet strings – the RSS, Hindu Sangam, Hanuman Dal etc etc ) to rise from the ruins of Badal's Govt  as a phoenix that oversees all in the Punjab.

The only hope now is that the Sikh Intelligensia, which has been watching from the sidelines will wake up and give the sikh masses the lead they deserve and need. Another powerful Singh Sabha Movement or Peoples Shantimaii Movement is sorely needed now to save the Guru Khalsa Panth and restore the sanctity of its top most religious institutions. A shantmai Peoples Movement is the ONLY WAY to bring Political Power Back  to the People who are fed up of the daily corruption and social evils of the Power crazy politicians. A complete up and down thorough cleansing of the Punjab Administration is a pre-requisite to restoring the peoples faith in a good clean government.

The Guru Khalsa Panth is sorely in need of Panthic Dardi ( pMqk drdI )religious leaders as well as political leaders who have good clean records of serving the people selflessly rather than working to line their own pockets. The Khalsa Panth diaspora ( prdesI K;ls; jI ) is  helplessly watching the situation in the Homeland detiriorate day by day. The Centre of Khalsa Panth ( wur; ) has broken down and is in disarray – only the ordinary people in Punjab through a Shantimaii Peoples Movement  ( S"tmXI lok morc; )can snatch the initiative and set the record straight. The TIME is NOW for a Peoples Peaceful Movement to begin the TASK of Reconstruction so that the Guru Khalsa Panth can be Glorious again.
